Reported to launch in May 2017.
The 2017 Maruti Dzire has been rendered in six different colours by Shoeb R Kalania. Note that this is not the official palette of colour options for the next-gen Swift Dzire.
The rendering is based on spy shots of the next-gen Swift Dzire at a yard. The images reveal an evolutionary redesign with wraparound LED taillamps.
The front-end is yet to be revealed, although the spy shots hint at it being different to that of the new Swift, which was launched in Japan in January and showcased at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The top-end ‘Z’ grade will get new 15-inch multi-spoke alloy rims, ORVM-mounted blinkers, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, and foglamps.
Inside, the Z-grade is likely to get Maruti’s Smartplay touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, rear parking camera, 4.2-inch colour MID and steering-mounted buttons, while ABS and dual airbags could be made standard across the range.

The spy shots that inspired the above renders revealed a badge on the boot that looked similar to the Maruti Ciaz's SHVS badge, suggesting that their mild-hybrid system could make its way in the Dzire too. It will be exclusive to the 1.3L DDiS 190 4-cyl diesel engine, which produces 75 PS and 190 Nm of peak torque.
