Could be unveiled at the 2017 Bangkok Auto Show.

It has been four years since the Isuzu MU-X launched in Thailand, and hence Headlight Mag believes that Isuzu is prepping a facelift this year. It could be unveiled at the Bangkok International Motor Show next month.

According to the report and renderings, the 2017 Isuzu MU-X will feature new headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, LED-powered taillamps, new bumper design with mesh intake, redesigned alloy wheels, slightly revised dashboard, and new seat upholstery. It is unclear if the changes seen in the render will be identical to the one in the production-spec model.

The Chevrolet Trailblazer-based SUV will retain the current model's engine lineup, which includes the RZ4E-TC 1.9-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that develops 110 kW (150 PS) and 350 Nm of torque and the 4JJ1-TCX 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 130 kW (177 PS) and 380 Nm of torque. Transmission options are a 6-speed manual and 6-speed RevTronic automatic, while a four-wheel-drive system is exclusive to the 3.0L variant.
