LXI and VXI variants are identical to the outgoing Wagon R, featuring minimal changes.
GaadiWaadi has posted spy shots of the 2017 Maruti Wagon R lineup, ahead of its launch this month. The new lineup is priced at INR 4.14 Lakhs - 5.37 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
While the lower LXI and VXI variants are identical to the outgoing Wagon R, Maruti has merged the Stingray into the Wagon R lineup, and it will be introduced as the range-topping Wagon R VXI+ grade. Like the rest of the models (save for the Alto), the company is offering dual airbags+ABS as an option across the range.
The most notable change in the Wagon R VXI+ is a dual-tone beige and black dashboard with gloss black accents instead of the Stingray’s all-black layout with silver inserts. Maruti has also updated the beige fabric upholstery of the seats and door cards.

No mechanical changes have been made; the Wagon-R continues with the 1.0-liter K-Series petrol engine that generates 68 PS and 90 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox or 5-speed AGS (VXI and VXI+).
