Will go on sale in China later this year.
From images of a production-spec 2017 Hyundai Verna photographed in China, here's a brief pictorial comparison of it and the Verna concept that was unveiled at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show in March.
The next gen Verna draws most of its styling cues from the concept, which are influenced by the Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. Up front, both share a large hexagonal grille with chrome bezels, sleek projector headlamps and sportier bumpers. It also has a a redesigned C-pillar and rear door, repositioned registration plate, new taillamps and a roof that elegantly flows into the boot.
As with any concept car, some of the swanky features don't necessarily make it to the production car. For instance, the concept car's mesh grille, LED accents, sportier bumper, and large alloy rims are not offered in the regular Verna.
