Will go on sale in 2017.
Autocar has posted new spyshots of the third generation Hyundai i30 testing with a trailer hooked to its rear-end. It will go on sale in 2017, following an expected world debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The styling of the 2017 Hyundai i30 will be inspired by the new Hyundai Elantra, featuring sleek headlamps, hexagonal grille, foglamps, and horizontal LED accents. At the back, the test mule seems to be fitted with a new pair of LED taillamps, roof spoiler and a new bumper design. The prototype also has a panoramic sunroof, which could be offered in top-end grades of the i30 when launched.
The next gen Hyundai i30 will spawn a hot, performance-oriented variant that will be the first product from Hyundai's 'N' performance brand. It will source some of the tech from Hyundai i20 WRC race car, and is reported to pack a 2.0L turbocharged engine. The i30 N is expected to hit a top speed of around 155 mph (250 km/h).

It is likely to source the same engine lineup from the current i30, but with minor improvements. There are a total of seven petrol and diesel engine options, which include a newly developed 1.4-litre petrol engine, and a 186 PS 1.6-litre T-GDI petrol that will be available only in the i30 Turbo. The 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines will likely be mated to a 7-speed DCT.
