New Creta will go on sale in Brazil in January 2017.
The 2017 Hyundai Creta made its debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show, revealing new design elements that will very likely be introduced in the India-made Hyundai Creta as a mid-cycle refresh. The Brazil-spec Creta will arrive in showrooms in January 2017.
Comparing the two side-by-side, changes lend it a more premium and bolder look. The front face borrows design cues from the new Santa Fe, featuring a large hexagonal grille with three slats, new bumper housing a larger central intake and a pair of horizontal fog lamps, and a redesigned silver skid plate.
The only changes to the profile are the alloy wheel designs, while the rear end features new cluster design for the taillamps, shark fin antenna, smaller reflectors and a bigger silver skid plate. Inside the 2017 Hyundai Creta, the only notable change is that the climate control unit features a different colour backlight, and the infotainment system will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
The Brazil-made Hyudai Creta will be available with a 1.6-litre flex-fuel engine paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, or a 2.0-litre flex-fuel engine only fitted with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Like the India-spec model, an AWD system is not available as an option in the new Creta.
