Prices stay unchanged – 550,000 baht to 751,000 baht.
Following the announcement of its prices, Autodeft has uploaded an image gallery of the 2017 Honda City, offering a look at the facelifted car in the metal.
The 2017 Honda City comes in five grades: S, V, V+, SV, and SV+, and prices stay unchanged – 550,000 baht to 751,000 baht. It was showcased in the base, mid and top-end SV+ grades at the launch.
The exterior has a more premium look, featuring new headlamps (LED illumination in SV+) with bolder LED DRLs, bolder chrome grille that now runs into the lights, a new 3-part intake bumper with fog lamps, new 16-inch alloy rims (15-inch alloy rims in middle grades) and a reprofiled rear bumper.
The top-end SV+ model featured is finished in the newest colour option - Cosmic Blue.
Changes inside are minimal. The 2017 Honda City comes with an all-black interior contrasted by gun metal trim on the dashboard, gloss black garnish on the centre console and bright silver accents. Top-end variants come with a speed-sensing auto door lock, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, cruise control, 60:40 split folding rear seats, LED cabin lights, a 6.8-inch touchscreen audio system and a new reverse parking camera.
For Thailand, Honda is offering the same 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine delivering 117 hp at 6,600 rpm and 146 Nm at 4,600 rpm. The base 'S' grade is fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox, while an EarthDreams CVT is optional in 'S' and standard in other grades.
