The Hero Splendor Pro was introduced in 2011.
The 2017 Hero Splendor Pro BSIV with Auto Headlamp On (AHO) has begun reaching dealerships. The design philosophy of the motorcycle remains the same as the BSIII version.
The Hero Splendor Pro is suspended over telescopic forks up front and dual hydraulic shocks in the rear with 5-step adjustability. The bike gets 18-inch wheels with a 130 mm drum unit in the front and an 110 mm unit in the rear. It can store 11-litre of petrol and has a ground clearance of 159 mm.
The Hero Splendor Pro colour options include Black Monotone, Palace Maroon, Candy Blazing Red, Cloud Silver, Shield Gold, Heavy Grey, Black with Red and Black Purple. Features list includes tri-set cockpit style meter console and a side stand indicator.

Powering the Hero Splendor Pro is a 97.2 cc air-cooled, single cylinder, OHC mill coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. In the BSIII version, the engine was capable of producing 8.36 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm.
The BSIII version of the motorcycle had a price tag ranging from INR 47,505 to INR 51,235 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2017 Hero Splendor Pro BSIV will be slightly more expensive than the outgoing version.
