The 2017 BMW 5 Series made its European debut at the 2017 Vienna Auto Show yesterday. Here is the all-new 5er from the Austrian motor show, sent to us by Raphael.
The 2017 BMW 5 Series models in the pictures are the BMW 530d xDrive and the BMW 540i xDrive, with the former finished in a shade of grey and the latter painted in a shade of blue. These are the car's top-end variants in Austria.

The engine, paired to the 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission, works in conjunction with the xDrive all-wheel drive system.
The BMW 540i xDrive sports the 3.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo straight-six petrol engine that churns out 250 kW (340 PS) at 5,500-6,500 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 1,380-5,200 rpm. The 8-speed Steptronic transmission is standard. It also comes with the xDrive all-wheel drive system.
