The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 has started reaching dealership, and Dino's Vault reports that it will continue with the BSIII compliant engine for now.
The 'all-new' Bajaj Pulsar range are the key new models for the company apart from the Dominar 400. With BSIV emission norms taking effect next April, it was expected that the entire range of Bajaj Pulsar will be moving to a new configuration. Dino's vault reports that the Pulsar 180 and 220 variants have made the switch to BSIV as part of the MY2017, but the Pulsar 150 BSIV will only come out next year.
The videographer reports that the outputs of the 150 cc motorcycle has not changed. The present generation Bajaj Pulsar 150 churns out 15.06 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 12.5 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
The clutch in the new bike is reported to be lighter while the engine is said to be more refined than the present generation model. Unlike the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220, which was earlier revealed to sport a cool blue panel lighting, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 continues with amber. The tyres on the motorcycle shown in the video have been sourced from MRF and are tubeless.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 also gets a textured seat which will help the rider lock himself on the bike for better handling. Bajaj Auto will officially launch the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar range in the coming days.
