Ducati UK had earlier announced an average 4.8 percent price hike across the range.
Ducati UK has introduced a special edition Ducati 959 Panigale which gets a range of parts from Ducati’s Performance catalogue.
Limited to just 25 units, the Ducati 959 Panigale limited edition’s biggest visual change has been the exclusion of the shotgun exhaust. The setup has been replaced by an Akrapovic underbelly exhaust system. The bike gains a billet aluminium race tank filler cap, brake lever protector and articulated racing levers.
The lower part of the fairing flaunts slight changes to accommodate the new exhaust. A Carbon version of the motorcycle is also on offer which gains a carbon fibre ignition switch cover, heel guards, front sprocket cover, tail tidy kit, chain guard, rear mudguard and shock cover. Each of these bikes will be individually numbered with a laser etching in the steering head.
The Ducati 959 Panigale Special Edition also gets a rear passenger cover and a racing windscreen. The powertrain remains the same 955 cc L-twin, Desmodromic mill coupled with 6-speed gearbox and DQS (Ducati Quick Shift). The engine is capable of producing 157 PS of maximum power at 10,500 rpm and 107.4 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm.
Ducati UK has priced the Ducati Performance Panigale 959 at GBP 15,995. The Carbon version of this Limited edition Ducati 959 Panigale costs GBP 16,995.
