Debut likely to take place at 2016 GIIAS.
An AutonetMagz reader has spotted the Toyota Calya at a dealership in Jakarta, Indonesia, ahead of its expected debut at the 2016 GIIAS, which will take place from August 11-21 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The exterior of the Calya has been photographed from various angles, featuring a bold chrome bar flanked by a pair of angular headlamps, while the bumper houses a large hexagonal grille with a chrome applique and round foglamps.
At the back, it features Toyota Innova Crysta-inspired taillamps, roof spoiler and a bold chrome garnish above the registration plate area. Top-end variants will ride on 14 inch alloy wheels, as seen in spyshots. The Calya measures 4,070 mm in length, 1,655 mm in width and 1,600 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,525 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm.

The only engine option in the Toyota Calya is a 3NR-FE 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 88 PS (87.76 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 108 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. It is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while a 4-speed automatic transmission is optional. At the moment, the Calya seems to be exclusive to the Indonesian market.
