Petrol Innova Crysta launching next month.

The Toyota Innova Crysta was launched in the first week of May 2016, and has since recorded over 30,000 bookings. Sales of the Innova Crysta are nearly double that of the first-generation Innova, and this is despite the fact that Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is unable to sell the Innova Crysta in Delhi-NCR and Kerala (owing to a ban on large diesel-engined cars).

The Toyota Innova Crysta has recorded over 30,000 bookings.

In the months of May and June 2015, TKM sold 5,028 and 4,144 units of the Innova respectively. Fast-forward a year and the Innova Crysta has sold 7,259 and 8,171 units in the months of May and June 2016, respectively.

Sales of the Innova have increased despite TKM increasing prices as well. The Innova Crysta range is priced from INR 13.83 to INR 20.77 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Mumbai and interestingly its the most expensive variant which accounts for a significant portion of sales.
