Expected to debut at EICMA 2016.
Using leaked images of the 2017 KTM Duke 390, Valerio Polifroni has created digital sketches of the upcoming naked sportsbike ahead of its possible debut at the EICMA show this year.
Though the side profile appears to be an evolution over the current Duke 390, the design of the headlight is a clear departure from the current model. The design changes carried out at front are likely to improve the motorcycle's aerodynamics.
Also, KTM is unlikely to use an all-new engine for the 2017 Duke 390. Reports state that the current 373.2 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine will be updated for the new generation Duke 390. For reference, the current engine delivers 44 hp and 35 Nm of torque. In addition to powertrain updates, the 2017 Duke 390 will also feature a drive-by-wire system. The slipper clutch, seen in the present day Duke 390, will continue to be on offer.

If revealed at EICMA 2016, the 2017 KTM Duke 390 will land in Indian showrooms by H1 2017. As with the current Duke 390, Bajaj Auto's plant in Pune will manufacture the naked streetbike with a high degree of localization for domestic and export markets.
