The 2016 Kia K3 Sedan (facelift) made its Chinese debut at Auto China 2016 (2016 Beijing Motor Show) last month. Also known as the Kia Forte Sedan and Kia Cerato, the Kia K3 Sedan gains the new "tiger nose" grille inspired by that of the 2016 Kia Optima, restyled front bumper, vertical air vents, repositioned fog lamps and updated headlamps with tweaked clusters and LED daytime running lights on the front.
The rear-end of the facelift receives modest changes with updated tail light clusters and restyled bumper.
The Chinese-spec 2016 Kia K3 Sedan measures 4,600 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width and 1,445 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. It's available in two engine models and nine grades with prices ranging from 96,800 to 1,50,800 yuan (INR 9,90,823 to INR 15,43,554).
The base engine is a 1.6-litre unit that produces 128 PS and 156 Nm of torque, and can be had with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Moving up the range, there's a 1.4-litre turbo engine developing 130 PS and 210 Nm of torque, which sends power to the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Noteworthy features of the 2016 Kia K3 Sedan include Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, dual chrome exhaust tips, heated steering wheel, 8.0-inch infotainment system, heated front seats and 10-way power adjustment for the driver's seat, VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control), HAC (Hill Assist Control), TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and BSD (Blind-Spot Detection).
