Expected to be unveiled later this year.
Reports are rife that KTM is developing an adventure tourer in the mid-segment (200-400 cc), which in all likelihood will be based on the KTM Duke 390's chassis. The rendering below imagines a KTM 390 Adventure with styling cues trickling down from the larger KTM 1190 Adventure.
However, a past report mentions that KTM's engineers are using a new frame for the adventure tourer, a frame which will offer increased levels of strength for off-road abuse as KTM expects most buyers to venture away from smooth tarmac.
At the helm, one can expect the 390 Adventure to be powered by the RC390's fuel-injected 373 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit which develops 43.5 PS at 9,000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
