Could make world premiere at 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
To accompany the Volvo S90 sedan in 2016, the Volvo V90 estate is expected to break cover at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, thus completing Volvo's 90 cluster (S90, V90, XC90).
Based on spyshots of an undisguised pre-production prototype, IAB's rendering artist, Shoeb R Kalania, has created a new render of the Volvo V90, offering a better look at the estate version of the Volvo S90.
Compared to the S90, the V90 features black roof bars, structural changes that include addition of a extra pillar, taillamps inspired by those of the Volvo Concept Estate, and a roof spoiler. Otherwise, it gets the gets the well-known long grille with vertical slats, LED headlamps with Thor's Hammer DRLs, new bumper design with sleek foglamps, and a clean hood.
Like the S90, the V90 will have very minimal button count, with key features now being integrated into the large 9-inch Sensus touchscreen. It should also inherit the driver’s display, Bowers and Wilkins audio system, and a Head Up display.
As for engine lineup, the V90 will pack a 2.0-liter Drive E petrol or diesel engine available in various outputs between 190 - 400 hp. Transmission options are an 8-speed automatic for most of the variants, and a 6-speed manual for the entry-level D4 diesel variant.
