The new Megane gets the signature V-Motion grille with the big Renault lozenge centrally placed, flanked by sleek headlights with Pure Vision LED illumination and C-shaped LED DRLs similar to the Renault Talisman. The bumper features chrome accents on the air intakes and horizontal fog lamps, and has a wider radiator grille.

The rear comes with new LED taillights that extend upto the centrally-placed Diamond logo. It also features a roof spoiler spoiler, sculpted rear bumper, and a single chrome-finished exhaust tip.

‘Renualtsport’ badging at the rear and front fender will further help to distinguish the GT. It will be offered with a new "Iron Blue" paintwork combined with "Dark Metal" finishes at the front and body-coloured door mirrors. 18-inch aluminium wheels especially developed by Renaultsport will be fitted to the model.

The 2016 Megane gets a high-quality interior with 8.7-inch R-Link 2 touchscreen similar to the one seen in the 2015 Renault Espace MPV. The instrument cluster has a large tachometer at the center with a digital speedometer sitting inside it. The buttons in the cabin have also been reduced, as most of the function are now integrated into the infotainment touch screen.
