As expected, the Kia Sportage features an all new upright front end that is characterized by a large tiger nose grille and "ice cube" foglamps. The projector headlamps are swept back, and the engine hood gets subtle crease lines. At the back, it sports a pair of LED taillamps, shark fin antenna, roof spoiler, separate reverse light and turn indicators, and dual exhaust tips.
The interior has also been unveiled before, which depicts a premium design that is step-up from the basic look of the outgoing model. The steering wheel is similar to the unit in the new Kia Optima, and gets buttons for handsfree call functions, volume controls, and cruise control. Between the central HVAC vents is the 7-inch touchscreen display powered by a Kia's UVO infotainment system.
