HMIL has announced that they have attracted over 405 bookings and 7,817 enquiries for the Hyundai Elantra 8 days after its launch on August 23. The all new Hyundai Elantra is priced between INR 12.99 Lakhs and INR 19.19 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new Elantra is available in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is powered by a bigger 2.0L MPI four cylinder engine producing 152 PS and 19.5 kgm, while the diesel variant packs a 1.6 CRDi engine with 128 PS and 26.5 kgm of torque. Both variants are available with an option between a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
It's also one of the most feature-packed sedans in its segment. Models from SX and above come equipped with projector headlamps, ‘boomerang’ LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy rims, LED taillights, shark fin antenna, parking sensors with reverse camera, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay support, satellite navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, anti-pinch sunroof and start/stop button.

The 2016 Hyundai Elantra measures 4,570 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,465 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, making it 40 mm longer and 25 mm wider than the outgoing model.
