New information on the 2016 Honda Civic has appeared on Honda's I.N. locator system and bulletins.
The bulletin confirms that the 2016 Honda Civic sedan will receive 1.5 turbo (1.5-liter i-VTEC turbo) and 2.0 engines. VTEC.net is reporting that the 2016 Civic sedan will launch first, following which the 2016 Civic Coupe, 2016 Civic Si and the 2016 Civic hatchback would be introduced.
The variant walk has the LX with the 2.0-liter engine paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the second LX and EX variants get the same engine, with a CVT.
The 1.5 turbo engine will be available with a six-speed manual gearbox exclusively in the EX trim. A CVT is offered with the same engine on the EX, EX-L, EX-L Nav, and Touring. EX and EX-L CVT trim levels offer Honda Sensing, a suite of driving assistance and safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and collision mitigation braking.
Aegean Blue Metallic, Cosmic Blue Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic Burgundy Night Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Rallye red, and White Orchid Pearl are the exterior colours to be offered. Ivory, Black and Gray are the listed interior shades.
