Expected to launch in mid-September.
According to reports, the next gen 2016 Audi A4 will launch in India in its petrol-powered 30 TFSI guise by the second week of September, followed by the A4 35 TDI later in the financial year.
The Audi A4 30 TFSI is powered by a 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 110 kW (150 PS) and 250 Nm of torque, and is available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed S-tronic transmission in other markets. The 35 TDI diesel variant packs a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 140 kW (190 PS) and 400 Nm of torque, and is also available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox.
The latest Audi A4 made its Indian debut at the 2016 Auto Expo in February. Compared to the outgoing model, the new A4 is 25 mm longer, 16 mm wider and 12 mm higher. It is based on the new MLB Evo platform shared with the new Audi Q7, which has contributed to a 120 kg weight loss over the previous A4.
