Audi has showcased the Q7 at the Auto Expo 2016.
The second generation Audi Q7, launched in India in December last year, is the first Audi to be based on the second generation modular longitudinal platform. The 2016 Audi Q7 is 5,052 mm long, 1,968 mm wide and 1,470 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,994 mm.
In India, the 2016 Audi Q7 is available only in 7-seat seating configuration, while international markets also get 5-seat seating configuration. As with the previous generation model, the luxury crossover is available only with a 3.0-litre TDI turbocharged V6 diesel engine which produces 249 hp (183 kW) and 600 Nm of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a 8-speed tiptronic transmission and distributed through a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. The 2016 Audi Q7 takes 7.1 seconds to reach from 0-100 km/h and can hit a top speed of 234 km/h. ARAI-certified fuel economy figure for the Q7 is 14.75 km/l.
Noteworthy features of the 2016 Audi Q7 include Matrix LED headlights, LED tail lights with dynamic turn signals, panoramic glass roof, Audi virtual cockpit, MMI infotainment system with 8.3-inch colour display and 558 watt Bose 3D sound system with 19 speakers and 15-channel amplifier.
