Mahindra Mojo's ex-showroom price hiked by INR 5,000 - IAB Report

The ex-showroom price of the Mahindra Mojo has been increased by INR 5,000 across all states post Diwali. The company had launched the motorcycle at an introductory price of INR 1.58 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi) on 15th October.

The first 100 customers received some benefits including the discounted price, a two-year nation-wide Road Side Assistance package and an extended warranty of three years in addition to the standard coverage of two years. The discounted price alone was later extended until Diwali.

Positioned in a niche segment as a sub-INR 2 lakh true-blue tourer, the Mahindra Mojo is equipped with a 300 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with DOHC that produces 27 bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The salient features of the Mojo include an inverted telescopic fork by Paioli, a stubby monoshock, a 320 mm disc rotor at the front with a four-piston J.Juan caliper, a 240 mm disc plate at the rear with a twin-pot J.Juan caliper, 17-inch alloy wheels with 110/70 and 150/60 Pirelli Diablo Rosso II radial tyres and a 21-litre fuel tank.
