The exterior is exactly the same as the global specification, except for the Chinese lettering on the tailgate.
The interiors are carried over from with the main features being the COMAND 7-inch infotainment system, as well as heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, Burmester audio, head-up display, rear-end collision prevention, radar cruise control, brake assist, active lane-keep assist, navigation, and adaptive LED headlamps. It is unclear how many of these features will actually make it to the Chinese variant.
The version that is spotted here has a GLC 300 badge, and in this, power will be derived from a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit capable of producing 245 hp mated to a 9-speed auto transmission and the 4MATIC all-wheel drive.
Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed that the car will be brought to India, with reports placing its launch in the second half of 2016. The Indian variant will likely be offered with the same 2.1-liter diesel from the C-Class, mated to the 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
