Will feature a turbocharged engine.
The interior images of the hotly anticipated 2015 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG have leaked online, depicting what a C Class interior would look like if AMG laid their hands on it.
Noticeable changes include a flat-bottomed steering wheel, the familiar AMG instrument dials with carbon fiber background, sports seats with contrast stitching and bigger bolsters, and a Burmester sound system.
From previous spyshots, it's clear that the exterior of the C 63 will feature an aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes, wider fenders, and a single bar grille. The rear will sport an aggressive fascia with an AMG quad exhaust system that should emanate an addictive exhaust note.
The next gen Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG will say goodbye to the old 6.3-liter N/A V8 engine and use the new 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 that also powers the Mercedes AMG GT. For the 2-seater GT, the 4.0-liter unit will produce 510 PS and 650 Nm of torque, so expect the engine on the C 63 to be a slightly de-tuned version.
Mercedes-Benz is expected to announce the C 63 AMG sedan and station wagon on September 24th, 2014, with deliveries commencing in February and April of 2015 respectively.
