LED headlights to be offered on the baby SUV.
The Audi Q3 compact crossover SUV is heading for a mid-life refresh next year and here are the speculative renderings depicting the possible visual changes.
The refreshed Q3 would get a redesigned front fascia which is in line with the Q brand's new family look, previewed by crossover concepts such as the Crosslane Coupe and AllRoad Shooting Brake. The smaller and edgier front grille, swathed in chrome, would be the main design highlight. The revised LED headlamps and sharper bumper elements sum up the new front fascia.
The compact premium crossover would remain largely unchanged when viewed from the side. Expect nothing more than new alloy wheel patterns. Changes to the rear fascia are not expected to be as extensive as the front fascia. The taillight detailing and bumper should undergo subtle revisions.
The interior too would continue without any major modifications and the same would apply to the powertrain lineup as well.
Talking to Indian Autos Blog at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, head of technical development at Audi, confirmed that the Q3 facelift will be one of the models to launch this year.
The current Audi Q3 for India is being assembled at the company's Aurangabad facility from CKD kits. The same would be carried forward when the facelifted crossover arrives in India sometime next year.
