Renault Duster rival arrives in India next year.
Hyundai revealed the production version of the ix25 compact crossover at the Chengdu Motor Show last week. The ix25, as reported previously, is expected to launch in India next year, and Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) have already started road tests of the car.
The production version of the ix25 stays true to the pre-production version unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show only receiving mild modifications to the bumpers and headlights. More importantly, the production version finally shows what the interior of the Duster rival looks like.
The steering wheel design is familiar to that of the Verna, while the instrument console resembles that of the Elite i20. The center stack, comprising of the AC vents and music system, seems inspired by the larger Santa Fe, though certain parts (the controls for the AC for e.g.) are also seen on the Elite i20.
Features inside include powered front seats, power folding wing mirrors, multifunction steering wheel, engine starter button, a touchscreen infotainment system, differential lock, hill descent control, heated seats, rear AC vents, automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof.
