The Yamaha R15 and FZ Series are being given some additional body colors. These images, snapped by xbhp member Naveen, reveal that the bikes sporting new colors have already arrived at dealerships.
The black and gold R15 is in fact a limited edition version which was showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo last month. Apart from this, the R15 gets a new white and blue color scheme and a white and red color scheme.
The FZ-S receives a white and gold livery with interesting body graphics on the tank. The Fazer meanwhile gets a red and white color similar to the R15.
Apart from these colors, Yamaha is planning to introduce revised versions of the R15 and the FZ-S by the middle of this year. The R15 v3.0 is reported to get a new fuel injection system along with an ECU remap, thus boosting power by an additional 1 PS to 18 PS.
The revised FZ-S, previewed by the FZ concept shown at the Auto Expo 2014, sports air-intakes below the fuel tank and redesigned taillights and rear mudguard. Yamaha could, according to a report, re-bore the engine to displace higher capacity and as a result, increase the power and torque outputs.
