The Scorpio facelift will get LED daytime running lights and projector headlights.

The prototype seen here sports dummy headlights and turn indicators, while the grille is borrowed from the Bolero with the bumper coming from the Xylo. However, our source informs us that the headlights of the refreshed Scorpio will receive LED daytime running lights and a black tint. The LED lights will be positioned on the upper portion of the headlight cluster we have come to learn.

Inside, the refreshed Scorpio will get a thoroughly revised dashboard with a lot of parts being borrowed from the more expensive XUV500. The steering wheel will be exactly like the XUV's, while the aircon vents have been redesigned and are now rectangular.

Expect to see the Scorpio facelift at the Auto Expo next month.

Mechanically, we're not expecting the Scorpio facelift to get major updates. Mahindra will continue using the 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk diesel engine which produces 120 bhp and 290 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, both of which are also expected to continue on the facelift.
