The powertrain continues unchanged.
The Suzuki Access 125 scooter has been given a model year refresh to keep it in contention. The 125 cc scooter has been in the market for over half a decade now.
The updates come in the form of minor cosmetic changes such as a new aluminium grab rail, steel fender up front and 3-D Access logos. The automatic scooter also gets a maintenance free battery and tubeless tyres. The rest of the package continues untouched.
Power is courtesy of a 124 cc air cooled engine mated to a CVT. The engine is yet to receive the efficiency enhancing Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. The power and torque figures stand at 8.58 bhp and 9.8 Nm respectively.
In terms of dimensions, the Suzuki Access 125 is 1,780 mm long, 650 mm wide, 1,125 mm tall and has a wheelbase of 1,250 mm. The kerb weight and ground clearance are at 112 kg and 160 mm respectively.
A telescopic front fork and a single rear coil spring suspend the scooter while 120 mm drums at each end take care of braking. The tyres have an identical size of 90/100-10.
After tasting success with its latest 110 cc scooter, the Let's, Suzuki Motorcycle India is upbeat about its prospects in the promising segment. Out of 6 new products that are lined up for the next few years, four would be scooters.
