The 2013 Suzuki Splash, which is nothing but the facelifted Maruti Ritz in India, has been launched into the Indonesian market with an option of an automatic transmission.
The new version of the small hatchback will be starting at a price of 151 million Indonesian Rupiah (around Rs. 8.3 lakhs).
The 2013 Splash gets a refreshed appearance as well as other changes. The exterior features a mildly updated front grille. The headlamps come with multiple reflectors and the mirror is electrically adjustable. The car is slapped with a VVT badge on the fender.
The six exterior color schemes available for order include Superior White, Breeze Blue Metallic, Midnight Pearl Black, Metallic Bakers Chocolate, Metallic Silky Silver and Mystique Red.
On the inside, the updated Suzuki Splash gets a new integrated audio system. Safety features include ABS and EBD but no airbags.
The updated Splash is powered by the same 1.2 litre four cylinder K12M engine with VVT (Variable Valve Timing) technology. It can produce 85PS of peak power at 6,000 rpm and 113Nm of maximum torque at 4,500 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual and a new automatic transmission.
