BMW has launched a new limited variant of the X6 M called as the ‘Design Edition’ restricted to 100 examples.
BMW describes the BMW X6 M Design Edition as sporty and visually striking both inside and out. The special edition can be ordered in Alpine White, Sapphire Black or Melbourne Red metallic paintwork donning 21-inch M Performance light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design and carbon elements.
The other external features are a black BMW kidney grille, black exterior mirror caps, front splitter, rear spoiler and rear diffuser. M Performance decals with stripes in the BMW M colours are available as an option.
Inside the seats are wrapped in Merino full leather. The instrument panel is done in Black/Mugello Red leather with Mugello Red contrast stitching. The interior trim in Piano black gets numbered badge depicting the exclusivity of the model.
Similar to the standard variant, the Design Edition is also powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that develops 555 HP and 680 Nm of torque. A six-speed M Sport automatic transmission and the all-wheel drive system are responsible to send this power to the road.
While there is no mention about the pricing, the company says that it will be an attractive package for what the customer pays.
