The new promotional video captures the naked roadster in action and promotes its styling and performance features. The video creates a montage of an MT-15 rider with a Japanese warrior and compares the motorcycle with the stallion of the soldier. The video emphasises on the bi-fictional LED headlight and its illumination power at night. The promotional video also highlights the handling prowess that the MT-15 features thanks to the Deltabox frame that underpins the motorcycle.
To recap, the Yamaha MT-15 was launched in India at an ex-showroom Delhi price tag of INR 1.36 lakh, making it approximately INR 3,000 cheaper than its fully faired avatar, the YZF-R15 V3.0. The naked roadster is aimed to cater to the audience who want the performance of the YZF-R15 V3.0 in a more comfort-friendly package.
The motorcycle has arrived at a higher price tag than many had expected and it sits somewhere between the KTM 125 Duke ABS and the 200 Duke ABS. The 125 Duke and 200 Duke, similar to the MT-15, use a single-channel ABS.
