Ford is seen testing variants of the EcoSport in Bahia, Brazil without any camouflage. The EcoSport launches in Brazil and China this year where it goes head-to-head with models the Renault Duster and Nissan Juke.
They don't need anymore of that as the vehicle was previewed to the media last month. Ford has also showcased this car in Beijing and revealed some of its features on the Indian website.
Coming to the spyshots taken by Autos Segredos reader Rangel Borges, the different trim levels Ford is planning has come to the fore. The top-end model has body colored fittings and snazzy alloy wheels. The lower trim cuts down on the pizzaz with non-metallic paint, fewer body work inserts and opts for pressed-steel wheels. Can we expect to see roof rails and rear spoiler standard on the EcoSport's Indian lineup?
India will get a new 1-liter EcoBoost engine and 1.5-liter diesel transferred from the Fiesta. Ford India introduces the EcoSport in early 2013.
