Here is a technical specifications comparison between the FI version of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and its perceived competitors in terms of power and price including the Bajaj Pulsar AS200, KTM Duke 200, Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 and the Hero Karizma ZMR.
TVS Motor Company has not released the price of the Fuel-Injected version of the Apache RTR 200, but has announced a ballpark value of 1.08 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This is higher than the price of the Bajaj Pulsar AS200 and that of the Hero Karizma ZMR, which are better suited as its competitors.
The other two models, the Yamaha R15 and the KTM Duke 200, are priced higher than the expected cost of the Apache 200. The Yamaha R15 has a smaller engine which produces lesser power and torque than the Apache despite being pricier, and the Duke 200 is the most powerful and expensive motorcycle in this comparison.
The Apache 200 FI is powered by a 197.75 cc single-cylinder air-cooled SOHC engine with an oil-cooler and four valves, that produces 21 PS at 8,500 rpm and 18.1 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It is offered with a five-speed gearbox.
