TVS Motor Company showcased the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the new TVS Victor at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida. Both models were launched last month.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V:
The Apache 200 is based on an all-new chassis and an all-new 197.75 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with SOHC four valves and oil-cooler. The motor is offered in a carbureted and an electronic fuel-injected version. The former produces 20.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and the latter develops 21 PS at 8,500 rpm. Both versions generate 18.1 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm.
The Apache 200 is quipped with a 270 mm disc brake up front, a 240 mm disc brake at the rear, optional dual-channel ABS, TVS Remora 90/90-17 and 130/70-17 tubeless tyres, and optional Pirelli Sport Demon tyre upfront and Angel GT at the rear. The entry-level variant with carburetor, non-ABS brakes and TVS Remora tyres is priced at INR 88,990 (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
TVS Victor:
The new Victor is powered by a 110 cc air-cooled single-cylinder 3-valve EcoThrust engine that produces 9.6 PS and 9.4 Nm, mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is claimed to deliver a mileage of 76 km/l.
The TVS Victor is offered in drum brake and front disc brake variants, has an 8-litre fuel tank, a telescopic fork, 5-step adjustable hydraulic spring rear suspension, tubeless tyres and alloy wheels. The drum brake model is priced at INR 49,490 and the front disc brake version is priced at INR 51,490 (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).
