Both models reportedly based on BMW G310R.
RushLane reports that TVS Motor Company has planned to unveil two concept motorcycles at the Auto Expo 2016 in Greater Noida on February 3, and that both models are based on the BMW G310R.
According to the publication, the concepts are the TVS Apache 300 and the TVS U69. The former is said to be a street fighter while the latter is its fully-faired version. It is also reported that both these models will bear resemblance with the recently-launched, Apache RTR 200 4V in terms of styling, and that the first of the two to launch will be the faired model. It is anticipated by January 2017.
Both concepts are expected to be equipped with the 313 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is seen on the BMW G310R, producing 34 hp at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm. On the concepts the engine could feature the same state of tune whereas their production versions (if they are destined for market introduction) could have different output figures. The transmission system on all these models would remain a six-speed unit.
