To launch for sale in late October, reportedly.
A member of The Automotive India forum has shared images of a Tata Hexa demo vehicle, suggesting that the manufacturer has already dispatched cars to dealers. Tata Motors will conduct the media launch of the car next month shortly after which the car will go on sale.
The Hexa is Tata’s second chance at competing in the premium crossover segment, and is claimed to be its most refined product yet. It looks more rugged and premium than the Aria, featuring black plastic cladding, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, roof rails, chrome embellishments and chrome-plated dual exhaust tailpipes. At the tape, it measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and 1,780 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm.
The final production Hexa's interior has also been photographed showing a full black interior with piano black and silver trim. Some of the confirmed equipment include an ESP (electronic stability program), 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, optional 6-seat configuration with captain seats, Harman touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting and 6 airbags.

Powering the Hexa is Tata’s 2.2L VARICOR turbodiesel engine, which outputs 156.2 hp and 400 Nm of torque in the Safari Storme. A 6-speed manual gearbox comes standard, while a 6-speed automatic gearbox is likely to be optional in mid- and top-spec grades.
