Tata Motors, through its authorized distributor in Nepal, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., launched the Bolt hatchback in petrol and diesel variants with prices starting at NPR 23.95 lakhs (INR 14.98 lakhs) for the petrol and NPR 28.35 lakhs (INR 17.74 lakhs) for the diesel variant.
The Bolt in Nepal will be available in three trims - XE, XM and XT - and in a range of five colors. The Bolt will be sold at 16 Sipradi sales outlets in Nepal.
The petrol variant, powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Revotron engine develops 90 PS and 140 Nm of torque, while the diesel, which uses a Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter engine produces 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. The petrol is rated at 17.57 km/l, whereas the diesel has a fuel efficiency figure of 22.95 km/l.
Based on the Tata Vista's platform, safety features on the Bolt include ABS, EBD, Corner Stability Control and dual front airbags. Other features include projector headlights, alloy wheels, multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, a touchscreen Harman entertainment system with video playback, Bluetooth, and Multi-Drive which includes three driving modes - Sport, City and Eco.

The Bolt was launched in India in January this year. Prices in India range from INR 4.45 lakhs to INR 7 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
