Tata Motors today launched the Bolt premium hatchback in Mumbai with prices starting at INR 4.45 lakhs, ex-Showroom, Delhi. Following are the variant-wise prices of the car.
Tata Bolt Petrol:
- Tata Bolt XE - INR 4.45 lakhs
- Tata Bolt XM - INR 5.16 lakhs
- Tata Bolt XMS - INR 5.4 lakhs
- Tata Bolt XT - INR 6.05 lakhs
Tata Bolt Diesel:
- Tata Bolt XE - INR 5.5 lakhs
- Tata Bolt XM - INR 6.11 lakhs
- Tata Bolt XMS - INR 6.35 lakhs
- Tata Bolt XT - INR 6.99 lakhs
The Bolt measures 3,825 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width, 1,562 mm in height and 2,470 mm in wheelbase, with a ground clearance of 165 mm and a boot capacity of 210 liters. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that makes 90 PS (88.7 bhp) at 5,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque from 1,500 to 4,000 rpm. The diesel Bolt uses a 1.3-liter engine that develops 75 PS (73.9 bhp) at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm between 1,750-3,000 rpm. Both engines get a 5-speed manual transmission.
Features on the car include smoked projector headlights, alloy wheels, dual airbags with ABS and EBD, a touchscreen Harman infotainment system with video and GPS support, multifunction steering wheel, split folding rear seats, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and climate control.
The Bolt competes with the likes of the Maruti Swift, Hyundai Elite i20, VW Polo, Maruti Ritz and the like.
