Suzuki is showcasing the Suzuki Vitara S variant at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show today, which was launched in the U.K in January 2016 at prices starting from £20,899.
The biggest highlight is the new 1.4-litre, direct-injection, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine, that produces 140 hp and 220Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or 6-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to Suzuki AllGrip AWD system. Combined fuel efficiency is 18.51 km/l and combined CO2 emission is 127 g/km.
The exterior has a five-slot grille flanked by full LED headlamps, and round fog lamps on the bumper with vertical LED strips. The S variant is offered in seven colours with two of them available in two-tone combinations.
The interior has leather and suede upholstery with red interior accents, Suzuki’s Smartphone Linkage Display Audio with Apple CarPlay support and sporty pedals with metal inserts. Safety features such as RBS (Radar Brake Support) autonomous emergency braking system and adaptive cruise control come as standard.
