The Suzuki Swift SZ-L special edition which was first introduced in the UK earlier this year has been reintroduced with an extended production run to cater to the high demand.
The special edition hatchback which is based on the mid-level SZ3 variant offers cosmetic and equipment upgrades. The car is available in two exterior color options - Boost Blue and Cosmic Black - with contrast Cool White colored roof, rear spoiler and wing mirrors. On the inside, new seat fabrics, and silver stitching for the steering wheel and the gear lever are exclusive to the special edition car.
The standard equipment includes 7 airbags, ABS, ESP, LED daytime running lights, cruise control and audio system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Power comes from the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine that also powers the Indian hatchback but is tuned to deliver 94 PS (92.6 bhp) and 118 Nm of torque (India-spec car generates 87 PS or 85.7 bhp and 114 Nm of torque). A 5-speed manual gearbox handles the transmission duty.
The Suzuki Swift SZ-L is priced at 11,099 pounds (around INR 11.44 lakhs) for the three-door version and 11,599 pounds (around INR 11.96 lakhs) for the five-door version. While the earlier batch had a limited production run of 500 units, Suzuki hasn't announced any production limitation for the reintroduced special edition.
