Suzuki has revealed the Suzuki Swift Sport Auto Salon Version in Japan. The company will debut the special edition at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon next month.
The Suzuki Swift Sport Auto Salon Version is a street-style performance hatchback based on the 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport. At the front, there are red highlights on the lip spoiler and the radiator grille opening surround are finished in satin grey colour. On the sides, the Swift Sport Auto Salon Version gets exclusive decals, red highlights, red mirror caps, ‘Sport’ lettering on the rear door and unique alloy wheels in black colour. The car gets a two-tone treatment with the roof finished in black.
The Suzuki Swift Sport is 3,890 mm long, 1,735 mm wide and 1,500 mm tall. It sports the K10C 1.4-litre Boosterjet engine that develops 140 PS at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of torque from 2,500-3,500 rpm. The turbocharged petrol engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Sport variant is available only in FWD layout.
