Mild exterior and feature add-ons for Suzuki's flagship SUV.
Suzuki Auto South Africa has updated the looks and features of its range-topping Grand Vitara 'Summit' variant, to add a dose of premium appeal to the package.
The facelift includes a redesigned grille and a new set of 18-inch wheels that are both finished in dark silver. Also part of the exterior facelift is a new addition to the available exterior colors called "Premium Silver".
Inside, to differentiate it with the rest of the Grand Vitara range, the Summit variant features gold trim on the steering wheel, gearshift lever, instrument cluster surrounds, center console, and around the HVAC outlets. The featured gold trim contrasts the dark cloth upholstery of the car.
Other standard equipment include remote central locking, electric windows, cruise control, and a four-speaker radio/CD player. Safety features such as dual front airbags and ABS with EBD and EBA are also offered as standard.
Under the hood, the Vitara's powered by a 2.4-liter four cylinder petrol engine that produces 163 hp at 6,000 rpm and 225 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Sending power to the standard all-wheel-drive system is either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic.
