No bump in power output over the carburetted version.
Along with the special edition Suzuki Gixxer SP and Suzuki Gixxer SF SP, Suzuki Motorcyles India has launched the Suzuki Gixxer SF Fuel Injected at INR 93,499 (Ex-showroom Delhi). It costs INR 4,642 more than the Gixxer SF carburetted version.
Its availability is limited to Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Kochi, Ahmedabad and Mumbai, for now. Also, the Gixxer SF FI can only be had in the Moto GP edition, which features the body colour and decals from Suzuki's MotoGP race bikes.
Despite being equipped with fuel injection, power output is identical to the carburetted version. The 154.9 cc single cylinder SOHC engine produces 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, which is the only transmission option. A notable change is the absence of a kick starter, leaving electric start as the only option to fire up the motor.

The integration of fuel injection is claimed to enhance fuel economy, ease of start-up engine and good throttle response.
