Suzuki calls it a 'Street Sport' motorcycle.
The Suzuki Gixxer 155 cc motorcycle has been launched at INR 72,199 (ex-showroom Delhi). Along with the Let's, the motorcycle was revealed earlier this year.
To be positioned above the GS150R, the Gixxer is claimed to have its design inspiration from the popular GSX-R1000 series. The styling highlights of the street bike include a muscular fuel tank, twin exhausts in a single end can, body colored grab rails and thick tyres.
Powering the Gixxer is a 155 cc single-cylinder air-cooled carbureted engine which is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The power and torque figures stand at 14.8 PS (14.59 bhp) and 14 Nm respectively.
The motorcycle features fully digital instrument console and LED taillights. The telescopic forks (front) and monoshock (rear) are the suspension equipment. The front wheel which is wrapped with 100/80-17 tubeless rubber is retarded by a single disc while the rear wheel which comes shod with 150/60R-17 tyre gets a drum brake.
