There were many previous occasions where the S Class was spotted testing but the video you see in this article is probably the most revealing of them all. A convoy of new Mercedes S Class test mules fell pray to the camera while they were testing near Barcelona, Spain.
Mercedes' design chief Gorden Wagener claims that the design of the new S Class would be “pure and timeless, combining traditional and new design ethics.” The limousine has a new front fascia which brings even more class to what is already an epitome of class.
The new flagship vehicle boasts an array of safety equipment like the camera based pedestrian detection system, ‘Emergency Steer Assist’ which works in tandem with the pedestrian detection system to aid the driver steer around an obstacle.
The new age Magic Ride Control will use cameras to study the road surface on a real time basis and will tune the suspension system accordingly.
The all new S Class is expected to make its debut in late 2013.
