The Skoda Octavia gets a minor mid-life facelift in January.
Skoda had unveiled the Skoda Octavia RS 245 and Skoda Octavia Scout at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. It is the most powerful variant in the Octavia's history.
The Skoda Octavia RS 245 is the top of the line model of the range. Powering the car is a 2.0-litre four cylinder TSI petrol mill which produces 245 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7 speed DSG.
In comparison to the standard model, the Octavia RS has a sports chassis which has been lowered by 15 mm. The car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6-second and the top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The new front section gets a wider radiator grille and the bumper gets wide honeycomb air inlets. The restyled headlamp get LEDs with adaptive front light system as standard. The wing mirrors and the trapezoid tailpipes are in black. The interiors in the Skoda Octavia RS 245 are in black and the pedals bear a silver finish thanks to the use of aluminium while the front seat and front door sills get RS badging.
