Royal Enfield has launched an online gear personalisation scheme for its customers under the ‘Make Your Own’ program.

Customers can choose between various colours, decals, fabrics and texts to customise their helmet under the Royal Enfield 'Make Your Own' online gear personalisation scheme.

The personalisation option allows the owners to express their ‘individuality’. Customers can customise their preferred riding gear and order it online from the Royal Enfield store. For starters, Royal Enfield is offering customisation options only for its range of half face helmets, while more gears and riding apparel will be available soon.

The personalisation lets you choose from a palette of colours, internal fabric options, decals and visors among others. The ‘Make Your Own’ program allows customers to personalise their helmet with a text, limited to 14 characters. However, it can only be placed on the sides of the helmet. Royal Enfield is working on offering different fonts, which will also increase the character limit.

Interestingly, the personalisation scheme doesn't increase the costs of the products. A custom half-face helmet retails at INR 3200, irrespective of what is specified. While the personalisation option is only limited to half-face lids at present, Royal Enfield is workings towards offering customisation options for its entire range of apparels and accessories.

Customers should take notice of the 30 days delivery period for the customised helmets. The good thing is that the product comes with a 15 days return policy, applicable to manufacturing defects. Moreover, the Royal Enfield helmets are ISI and DOT certified.
